Girl-Friend

I was chatting with a friend of mine yesterday afternoon inside the mall when I remembered this:

I met one young male chatter in 2000 and he became a very good friend of mine. He was 13 years younger than me. He was finishing college when we met. Two years after, he told me he found a girlfriend but he hasn't introduce her to his family. His grandfather died and I went to the wake. I sat along one of the aisle back seat of the room. I told his relatives am a friend of his. I saw his mother who looked like him and then an old woman came to my side and softly reach out to my hand and squeezed it, she told me it was a very sad time for all of them. I couldn't help smiling for I think his grandmother and the rest of the relatives might have thought I was his girlfriend. I was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans and rubber shoes.

After awhile, he went inside and told me to sit beside him so we can talk. All his relatives that were seated in front of us, were all looking back, letting me feel that they were looking at the door but I know for sure that they were looking at me. I whispered to my friend to observed all his family and relatives head movements and he chuckled.

On the day of the burial, one uncle of his asked him if I was the one. He said of course not! Did you know how old she is? When the uncle knew about it, he couldn't believe it.
